Parker County Is a Straight Run West

Weatherford is about thirty-five minutes from our shop on Commercial Dr. — straight out I-20 or 199, depending on where in the county you are. Willow Park and Aledo are closer. This is a market our crews work regularly, not one we're claiming from across the Metroplex.

The county runs two commercial economies. The I-20 corridor from Willow Park through Weatherford has been absorbing Fort Worth's growth for twenty years — retail, medical, distribution, and a hospital campus. Everything north and west of that is still ag, equipment, oilfield service, and manufacturing, in buildings that were put up to work rather than to be looked at. Both need roofs. They don't need the same roof.

What is AVID?

AVID Roofing & Waterproofing is a commercial operator with more than $300 million in installations across its leadership's careers. 205 combined years of leadership and field supervision, every bit of it earned in the field — installer, foreman, estimator, system designer — before anyone here ran anything. Every project is assigned to and fully supervised by a project manager whose name you'll know by the end of the first walk, and who sends you a written report every day the job is open.

We're manufacturer-certified with Sika, Siplast, Garland, Johns Manville, and FiberTite, and every system meets manufacturer specifications. National client work has included Macy's, Pfizer, Wells Fargo, and Ben E. Keith.

Parker County runs from new tilt-wall on I-20 to metal buildings on county roads, with one of the best-preserved courthouse squares in Texas in the middle of it. We scope them as different problems because they are.

What We Do in Parker County

Commercial roofing. 60-mil TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, and standing-seam metal systems installed to manufacturer specifications on buildings that remain open during the work.

Design-build reroof. Assessment, drawings, submittals, and installation under one contract. No consultant fee stacked on top of the install, and one warranty covering the full assembly instead of a finger-pointing match between the designer and the installer when something leaks.

Architectural sheet metal. Copings, fascia, edge metal, and through-wall flashings fabricated in-house to ES-1 wind uplift standards. Edge metal is where most North Texas roofs fail first — and in a corridor that takes hail nearly every spring, that detail is the difference between a repair and a claim.

Waterproofing and restoration. Water doesn't only come through the roof. Tilt-wall joints, window perimeters, plaza decks, parking structures, below-grade walls — the other half of the envelope.

Roof asset management. Biannual GPS-tagged inspections, a multi-year capital plan, and 72-hour storm assessments on covered properties. Deferred maintenance isn't saving money. It's scheduling a bigger bill without telling you the date.

24/7 emergency service. Active leaks, storm damage, failed flashings. Temporary dry-in within four hours on storm-driven leaks, and the line is answered by a person authorized to dispatch. Emergency Dispatch: 833-766-3003.

Who Hires Us In Parker County

Agricultural, equipment, and industrial — feed and equipment dealerships, processing facilities, oilfield service yards, and manufacturing across Springtown, Millsap, Brock, and the county roads. Most of these are metal buildings, and metal roofs fail at the fasteners, the seams, and the penetrations rather than in the panel. That means the honest answer is often a re-sealant or a coating rather than a tepanelsf—which is a fraction of the cost and lasts ten to fifteen years. We'll tell you when that's the case.

Distribution and I-20 industrial — the corridor through Willow Park and east Weatherford. Tilt-wall envelopes with heavy rooftop mechanical and constant service traffic, scoped around dock schedules rather than ours.

Medical — Weatherford Regional Medical Center and the medical office corridor along I-20 and Ranch House Rd. ICRA-aware scheduling. A medical roof can't shut down a wing, and infection-control protocol drives sequencing more than the weather does.

Retail and multi-tenant — the I-20 corridor, the Hwy 180 and 51 spines, and the Springtown and Azle retail clusters. Decades of unsanctioned rooftop penetrations from tenant HVAC and satellite installs. We inventory everyone before we touch the membrane.

Education — Weatherford College, plus Weatherford, Aledo, Springtown, Brock, Peaster, Millsap, and Poolville ISDs. Campus work is summer work: multi-building phasing, dried in every night, background-checked crews, done before students return.

Municipal and county — the Parker County courthouse, city halls, libraries, fire stations, and public works facilities. Procurement-ready scopes, manufacturer certification documentation, and line-by-line pricing so it survives review at a commissioner's court or council meeting.

Historic downtown — the Weatherford Square is one of the best-preserved in Texas, and buildings like that leak at the parapet coping and the through-wall flashing rather than in the field of the roof. The fix is usually sheet metal and waterproofing, not a re-roof, and the work has to look right when it's done. We fabricate our own metal, which is what makes matching a historic profile possible.

Hospitality and event — the venues, lodges, and event properties across the county, plus the I-20 hotel cluster. Night and early-morning installs, nothing in a guest area at any hour.

Our clients are property owners, general contractors, plant and facility managers, school district and municipal facilities departments, and asset managers.

Parker County Commercial Roofing Frequently Asked Questions:

Our emergency line is staffed 24/7. After assessing the building and weather conditions, we work to provide temporary dry-in within 72 hours for qualifying active leaks in Weatherford, Springtown, and throughout Parker County. Response times may be affected by severe weather, building access, safety conditions, and regional demand following a major storm.

Not necessarily. Leaks around fasteners may result from deteriorated washers, loose or backed-out screws, improper installation, movement in the metal panels, or failed sealants. AVID will inspect the panels, fasteners, seams, and penetrations to determine whether targeted repairs, a restoration system, or complete roof replacement is the appropriate solution.

Yes. Historic commercial buildings require careful evaluation of the roof, parapet walls, coping, flashing, drainage, and original construction details. AVID can develop a repair or replacement plan that addresses water intrusion while preserving the building’s architectural character and complying with any applicable local preservation requirements.

Yes. We provide procurement-ready scopes with system specifications, manufacturer certification documentation, and pricing broken out line by line so it survives review at commissioners court or a school board meeting. Campus and municipal work gets scheduled around your calendar — summer for schools, off-hours for occupied public buildings.
